Metal Interests was originally formed by Roger and Pippa Brewster in the mid 1970’s and is now owned by Anthony Brewster, the second generation of Brewster ownership.
Our head office is located in Chichester, West Sussex and we also operate out of our yard in Hinckley, Leicestershire where we specialise in handling and sorting Aluminium. Anthony Brewster also owns Infinity Metals in Leeds, which is a Sister company to Metal Interests Ltd.
We are twice winners of the Queens Award for Enterprise in International Trade (2007 & 2011) and keen exporters abroad.
Our company focus is to work with tier one consumers and producers placing us in a good position to reduce the dominance of use of prime material.
Our History and Ethos
The Company has been built on the firm belief that waste stream should be minimised by maximising recycling with all benefits to society and environment being recognised. We believe that the recycling industry has finally come of age, and the general view of what is achieved in the industry is much more main stream and supported by the public.
The businesses have always had a strong tie to the Industry Association the BMRA and Anthony Brewster sits on the board of directors, taking a keen interest on the future of the recycling industry.
The company ethos is based around a strong desire to find the shortest route from Post Production Scrap back to Secondary Raw Material.
The company has a global view, and have the expertise in house to import and export material.

Our trading personnel offer a wealth of experience and expertise enabling a unique understanding of the requirements of consumers, working with them to ensure that they receive the quality and flow of material they require. To this end, we work closely with our suppliers to ensure this consistent quality, always encouraging best practice and minimisation of waste.
